Visit their educational display across from the kids village on the South Shore where kids can try their hands at milking a cow - not a real cow, but Bessie the mechanical cow. The Barrie Examiner is Kempenfest's Official Newspaper. Providing full coverage of the event from start to finish, the Examiner's in-depth reporting is unmatched my any other print medium. The Dock joins us again this year as one of our entertainment sponsors and official Radio Station of Kempenfest. They are presenting a day-long show of great rock and roll on Saturday feature Barrie's own Fred Grant Squares, Men in Black, the Dock House Band, Hotel California (Eagles Tribute) and Jim Cuddy. Kempenfest welcomes a new radio partner this year - Simcoe County's francophone radio station VAGUE FM. Kempenfest welcomes Contractor Rental Supply back as a strong supporter of the event. Whether it's fencing, or power generators, or fork lifts, CRS supports the event in may ways by donating their equipment and services to help our groups pull off an otherwise challenging event.
